It is more than a job; it’s my ancestral lineage calling me. My Great-Great Grandmother was a pioneer midwife in Florida before babies were born in a hospital setting. She was known as the Granny. She was what we call a midwife today. She paved the way.

My mother was a teen mom- that gives me extreme compassion and a desire to help young moms reach their highest potential. Over 100 years ago, my Great-Great Granny suffered from postpartum depression, in which there was no medical diagnosis per her indication. Her husband placed her in a mental asylum never to see her 5 children again. My history empowers my need to help you no matter what you face, together with me as your doula you will overcome!
